Danielle E. Murray
Founder & CEO, Public Lands Center
​
Danielle Murray is the founder of the Public Lands Center and brings 17 years of leadership in advancing environmental policy campaigns. Her extensive experience includes developing and executing strategies to conserve natural resources on both national and landscape scales. Danielle has led national policy initiatives and large-scale planning efforts within the Department of the Interior and has implemented crucial legal strategies to further conservation goals.

Danielle earned her Juris Doctorate and Master of Studies in Environmental Law from Vermont Law School in 2007. She subsequently served as a Law Clerk at the Delaware Superior Court. Danielle holds a bachelor's degree in Wildlife Conservation, with a minor in Biology, from the University of Delaware, graduating in 2003.

Residing in Durango, CO, with her family and two dogs, Danielle enjoys exploring western rivers, navigating public lands, and skiing with her son in her spare time.
